Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Soualy website and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Ahmed Alaa, an individual based in Egypt, trading as Soualy("سؤالي", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Soualy provides a web application that helps professional educators generate exam-style questions and related educational content using artificial intelligence, with a focus on the Egyptian Thanaweya Amma context. Features may include account registration, phone verification, question generation, conversation history, usage quotas, export to documents (such as Word), and paid subscription plans. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Egyptian Ministry of Education or any government body.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for adults who work as educators or in comparable professional roles. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate registration information (including your name and phone number) and complete any verification steps we require (for example, one-time codes delivered via SMS through our verification provider). You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass security or usage limits.
- Scrape, automate, or bulk-access the Service in a way that harms performance or circumvents technical controls.
- Share account credentials, resell access, or use one account for multiple unrelated organizations without our consent.
- Upload or generate content that infringes intellectual property, contains malware, or is abusive, hateful, or harassing.
- Misrepresent the AI-generated output as official ministry material or as human work where that would mislead students or third parties.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
5. AI-generated content
Outputs are produced using AI models and reference data. They may contain errors, omissions, or material that does not match a particular exam or curriculum version. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any content before use in teaching, assessment, or publication. We do not guarantee specific exam results, scores, or that outputs will match any future ministry exam.
6. Subscriptions, fees, and changes
Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchases. Prices, quotas, and plan names are shown on our website and may change. If we change pricing or material terms for existing subscribers, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law. Fees are charged in the currency and through the payment methods displayed at checkout.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Kashier (or another payment processor we designate). Card and payment details are handled by the processor according to its terms and privacy policy; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. If you have a billing dispute, contact us first using the details below; we will work with you and, where appropriate, the payment processor to resolve it. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, payments for digital services and delivered quotas may be non-refundable once the payment has been completed—please review the checkout terms shown at the time of purchase.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your professional purposes in line with these Terms. Subject to the foregoing and to third-party rights in any underlying ministry or textbook materials you introduce, you retain rights to content you create using the Service (such as prompts you write and exports you generate); you grant us a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on infrastructure and vendors (for example hosting, database, AI inference, SMS verification, and payments). Their availability and practices are partly outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for how data is processed.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period (or, if none, one hundred Egyptian pounds (EGP 100)). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts located in Cairo, Egypt will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived by contract.
